Kitchen & Addition Renovation

In 2016, we started a major kitchen remodel which included an attached sunroom and terrace. The clients had lived in their home for 15 years and decided they wanted to upgrade. As often happens, they’d looked around at other homes and decided to stay, as they liked their neighborhood.

They called Karen Turner of KTK Designs to handle the design; Karen is someone who we’d worked well with on three previous projects, so we got the call to become part of the team. We partnered with Russ Fine Woods, Ferguson Enterprises, and Deibert Masonry to complete this stunning project.

Notes From Bill

Projects often evolve after they’re started and on this one the terrace space was somewhat fluid from the get go. Several layouts were debated, but all of them had a privacy fence to screen the terrace from the subdivision road. The 30+ of screening was much too long and needed something to break it up; after several weeks of pondering what to do, we pitched the idea of converting one of the eight foot sections of screen into an outdoor TV cabinet.

The rest they say is history; sports events can now be watched outside under the shade of an oak tree.

What The Owners Say

“From the moment we met, I was impressed by your calm, easy manner and knowledge of how to make my dream a reality. I cannot tell you how much joy this space has given our family…. We are forever grateful and LOVE our home.”
