Tacos on Tuesday is a fundraiser created and hosted by Rockpile Construction and Sarisand Tile. Our mission is to support local charities in the greater Charlottesville area and to help them raise money and awareness for their organization. We believe that giving is an ongoing cycle and our goal is to help local charities in our community thrive. Once a quarter, we celebrate a local charity with their own “Tacos on Tuesday” event raising money to benefit them.
Rockpile and Sarisand provide the event space and cover 100% of the food and labor costs to feed the 250 or more community members who typically attend. There’s a suggested donation of $20/adult that goes directly to the charity.
Since the Fall of 2016, Tacos on Tuesday events have raised over $65,000 dollars and counting. Our beneficiaries have included:
