A Downtown Condo

About this build

This project was a condominium renovation in the Lewis and Clark building in downtown Charlottesville. The unit had remained relatively unchanged for decades. Our client, who had a design background and a bold vision for the space, wished to remodel the kitchen and completely reconfigure the unit’s room layout. With help from Karen Turner of KTK Designs, the new design opened up the main living space and offered more privacy for the bedrooms. With an eye towards Tuscany, the cabinets, floors, walls and trim are all warm earthen colors. Once we successfully finished this challenging project, we went on to complete three more condo renovations in the building.
